Heal the Bay Aquarium

Awesome, enthusiastic teachers who love the ocean and all the creatures in it want to share that knowledge with you!

The Santa Monica Pier Aquarium provides a two-hour guided marine science educational program, featuring California science standards-based curriculum for pre-K through high school students. All programs are hands-on and interactive; the program for younger grades includes a beach exploration component and lab activities are provided for upper grade levels.

As the public face of Heal the Bay, a leading environmental organization in the region, the Aquarium's popular, hands-on instruction programs instill a sense of wonder and appreciation for marine life and inspire stewardship of the ocean.
